Also known as BEP, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing is an agency in the United States Department of Treasury. There are 2 facilities were the Federal Reserve notes are printed, Washington, D.C. and Forth Worth, Texas. The agency prints Federal Reserve notes, government security documents along with postage stamps for the post office and ID cards. It however does not produce United States coins.
